Examination Scheduling FAQ’s
Do I need a real estate examination appointment for all exam sites?
Yes, beginning with the May 12, 2008 examinations.
Can I still walk-in to these exam sites and be on stand-by?
No, as of May 12, 2008 walk-ins will no longer be allowed at any of our exam sites. There are no exceptions.
Can I make multiple appointments?
No, you are only allowed to schedule one examination at a time.
What if I will not be able to keep an appointment?
If you cannot keep an appointment, you must reschedule it to another date before the cutoff period (as outlined in the exam policies when you scheduled your examination). You cannot cancel an appointment and the exam fee is non-refundable.
How do I reschedule an appointment?
You should login into your eAccessNY account, go to “View Scheduled Exam Details,” select your appointment and then click “Reschedule.” Continue to follow the directions and remember to print your new exam information once completed.
How early do I have to arrive at the exam site?
You should arrive at least thirty (30) minutes before the actual examination time. If you are late, you will NOT be admitted to the examination.
What should I do if I am having trouble making a reservation?

How do I find out information about the exam or what I need to bring to the exam?

What should I do if I am unable to print my confirmation page?
You should write the candidate number, exam date, exam time and location on a piece of paper so that you can bring it to your exam. You will need your candidate number to complete your paperwork at the examination.
